Photos of the car accident that is suspected to involve Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice show occupants of the two vehicles that caused the crash fleeing the scary scene.
The photos, obtained by TMZ Sports, show a group of men who emerged from a Lamborghini and a Corvette that were racing before the crash walk away along the side of the North Central Expressway Saturday evening in Dallas, as first responders tend to the victims whose cars were banged up, witnesses told the website.
While it’s unclear if Rice, 23, is among the group of men in the photos, the Dallas Morning News reported that police suspect Rice was the driver of the Corvette; police are searching for Rice.
Two people were hospitalized with minor injuries and two others with minor injuries were treated at the scene, per the Morning News.
WFAA obtained shocking dashcam footage of the crash that shows the Lamborghini and Corvette speeding dangerously in the left lane before losing control and colliding with other cars.
Three men were captured exiting the Corvette and walking towards the side of the freeway.
Police told the Dallas Morning News that a car “believed to be registered or leased to Rice” was involved in the crash, though it’s not clear which one.
As of Sunday, it’s unclear if Rice is suspected of any charges and the Super Bowl champion wasn’t appearing in county jail records, per the Morning News.
Rice grew up in North Richland Hills outside of Fort Worth and played college ball at SMU before the Chiefs took him in the second round of last year’s draft.
