(WBNG) -- Fire officials in Tioga County have called the fire at the Taylor Garbage Recycling Facility the "largest in modern Tioga County history."
Dozens of fire departments responded to the scene but many local businesses helped.
Johnson's Pools & Spas was one of the businesses. They loaned water to the departments on scene.
They say other businesses also helped and brought food and drinks to the scene.
"We all support each other," said Audra Marks, a partner at Johnson's Pool & Spas. "Everyone is a great neighbor and when's someone's down, there's a lot hands out to help them stand back up."
Marks says the community is always together and supporting each other.
