MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department says a 50-year-old woman has died after a shooting near 28th & Townsend Tuesday night.
Officers were dispatched to 3300 block of North 28th Street shortly after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters with the Milwaukee Fire Department responde and tried to save the woman's life, but she died at the scene.
The circumstances and the suspect(s) involved are currently under investigation.
