WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa. (KWWL) - West Burlington Police, Des Moines County Sheriff's Department and Burlington Police were called to the 400 block of east Pennington Street for a person with a shotgun inside a home.
The person fired the gun inside his property.
The Des Moines County Tactical Unit is on scene.
Negotiations between authorities and the subject are ongoing.
Authorities are asking the public to stay away from the area.
