Police in Union City are at the scene of a SWAT situation, officials said.
Union City officers were sent to a home off Alexander Avenue about 1:15 p.m., Officer Jerome Turner said Sunday.
When they arrived, they heard a “verbal disturbance” between a man and a woman happening inside.
The officers were able to contact the woman, who said her husband was armed inside the home, Turner said.
No other information was available. We are working to learn more.
