Florida Highway Patrol Troopers are en route to a fatal crash that occurred in Brevard County at 8:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 1 and 1st Street. Lieutenant Kim Montes, Public Affairs Officer for the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were on the scene of a fatal crash that occurred in Brevard County at 8:40 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 1 and 1st Street.

Lieutenant Kim Montes, Public Affairs Officer for the Florida Highway Patrol reported that a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene.

First responders and investigators were on the scene and the victim and circumstances of the incident have not yet been reported.
