KALAMAZOO, MI -- Police are looking for the driver of a car that ran over a 15-year-old girl on Reed Avenue, then left the scene.
The teen was taken to a Bronson Methodist Hospital for serious injuries, but her condition was not immediately known.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers responded about 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 27 to the 800 block of Reed Avenue on a report of a person down in the road.
Officers found an inured teen. She could not provide many details about what happened.
Officers spoke with witnesses and also found some nearby security camera video that showed the teen being run over.
The vehicle was a dark sedan and went west on Reed Avenue following the crash. The make and model of the car are not known.
