Behind every little woman and man is, apparently, a trendy reusable water bottle.
Eagle-eyed fans of Greta Gerwig’s remake of “Little Women” noticed not just one but several stray water bottles in the background of the acclaimed movie’s scenes, calling to mind the disastrous coffee cup cameo in last year’s final season of “Game of Thrones.”
Although the movie — starring Saoirse Ronan, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Laura Dern — came out last Christmas, re-watchers have recently flagged the bottle bungle. We’ve all got a lot of time on our hands these days, OK?
In her video, TikTok user madelynrancourt zooms in on a scene with Chalamet, in which a turquoise Yeti Rambler Bottle is immediately recognizable in the background. Another film buff, 18-year-old Mya, told Teen Vogue she rewatched the scene to see for herself. Lo and behold, the water bottle made a cameo.
“I thought it was so funny that I hadn’t noticed it before,” Mya said, adding: “The majority of my [Twitter] followers . . . are big fans of the film and I thought it would be a funny thing for me to share with them.”
Other frenzied users called on Chalamet to explain the appearance, and even spotted a second 20th-century vessel, seemingly a non-reusable Poland Spring bottle.
Followers immediately conjured up the image of the rogue coffee cup next to “Game of Thrones” star Emilia Clarke and medieval-style goblets. The sloppy misstep was the last straw for some fans of the show, which was roundly panned for its final season. HBO has since removed the cup from the scene.
No word yet on whether the water bottles will be removed from future versions of “Little Women.” Sony Pictures has not returned The Post’s request for comment on the anachronistic water bottles.
