A 25-year-old Deaborn man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday evening at the northbound Lodge and Davison Freeways in Detroit, according to Michigan State Police.
Two motorcycles were exiting the Lodge to westbound Davison about 8:15 p.m. when one of the two entered the curve too fast, striking the concrete embankment wall and caution arrow sign. The driver was killed.
The second rider, a friend of the victim, removed a firearm from the injured rider while rendering first aid and placed it on the embankment wall.

Several unknown persons then flooded the scene from a neighborhood party, which was being held in a vacant lot just west of the crash scene, and at some point, the pistol was allegedly stolen according to MSP.
The investigation is pending autopsy results and excessive speed is a factor in the crash.
