
KALAMAZOO, MI -- Police are at the scene of the city’s third shooting over several hours Friday, with a man injured near the Clarion Inn.
The latest shooting happened about 5:25 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 in the 3600 block of East Cork Street.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers said they responded to the area on a report of shots fired and arrived to find an injured man.
Police said they are looking for four males seen in a smaller gray or silver SUV that left west on East Cork Street.

It was the third shooting on Friday in Kalamazoo.
The first was about 12:30 a.m. when a 30-year-old showed up at a local hospital. Police believe it happened in the 600 block of Florence Street and the man was last known to be in stable condition.
Then about 10:20 a.m., another shooting happened in the 500 block of North Park Street.
Police arrested one of two suspects sought in the shooting. The victim was last known to be in stable condition.
