JIM THORPE, Pa. - The coroner has been called to the scene of a standoff in Carbon County.
The identity of the person who died is not immediately clear.
Police and SWAT teams had been involved in the standoff with a man in Jim Thorpe all day.
Authorities were called to the scene on Lehigh Street Monday morning for a reported domestic disturbance. Officials told our crew on the scene that a man in the home had an argument with his wife, and guns were involved.
At one point we were told the man's wife and kids were inside, but somehow they got out.
