LONG BEACH — Long Beach officers fatally shot a suspect Saturday night.
The shooting occurred about 9:30 p.m. around 15th Street and Magnolia Avenue, said LBPD spokeswoman Arantxa Chavarria.
The shooting stemmed from a report of a person who was armed with a gun, Chavarria said.
The officers located the suspect and the shooting occurred, she said.
The suspect, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. The shooting was under investigation, police said on social media.
