The coroner was called to the scene of an early morning crash in Penn Hills, according to an Allegheny 911 dispatcher.
Crews responded to Rodi Road around 12:30 a.m. Thursday for reports of the two vehicle crash, according to Tribune-Review news partners WPXI-TV.
The dispatcher noted that one person self-extricated themselves following the crash, but the extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Rodi Road was closed between Stoneledge and Morrow Drives for several hours Thursday morning. The dispatcher noted the road was reopened around 6:30 a.m.
