“Stay past the end credits… you won’t regret it. #InTheHeightsMovie out NOW!!!,” director Jon M. Chu tweeted on the film’s release day.

Keep watching, in fact, and you’ll be rewarded with an additional song and two of the stars from In the Heights‘ original Broadway production! Here are all the secret-scene details.

What is the In the Heights post-credits scene?

The post-credits scene is, among other things, an In the Heights and Hamilton reunion for Lin-Manuel Miranda and Christopher Jackson, who played Benny in the original Broadway cast of In the Heights and George Washington in the original cast of Hamilton.

This time around, Jackson plays a Mister Softee ice cream truck driver—whose rival is none other than “Piragua Guy,” played in the In the Heights movie by Miranda.

Miranda croons in the movie that Jackson’s character is “trying to shut me down.” But in the post-credits scene, the Piragua Guy, singing “Piragua (Reprise),” proves who really runs the town!

When does the In the Heights post-credits scene take place?

If you’re streaming the movie on HBO Max, you can fast forward to the 2:23:27 mark for the hilarious scene.
