SAN ANTONIO – One car seems to have brought a whole lot of trouble to a Northwest Side neighborhood.
San Antonio police say someone in the car fired shots at one home, then the vehicle crashed into a second home as it sped away.
No one in either home in the 9000 block of Wellwood Street was hurt.
Officers were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and found one home with damage to its back side.
The car had crashed through a wooden backyard fence and hit the side of the home, knocking out some bricks.
They also found the car bumper which the driver left behind.
Police say someone in that car had just fired shots at another nearby home.
In that area, they found several shell casings.
After the crash, the car sped away from the scene.
Officers searched the area, but did not find it or the people who were inside.
