Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash about 4:35 p.m. Thursday on State Route 117 at Township Road 100.
Drivers Kelly J. Oliver, 56, of Lakeview, and Shirley S. Holycross, 43, of Kenton, and a passenger in the Oliver vehicle, Kimberly J. Tuttle, 54, of Lima, each were treated at the scene by Huntsville EMS and BMRT EMS personnel for suspected minor injuries. The occupants were not transported from the scene.
Deputies report Holycross was operating a westbound 2008 Honda Civic on T.R. 100 and stopped at the stop sign at S.R. 117 and then proceeded into the intersection. Her vehicle was struck by a southbound 2017 Ford Flex operated by Oliver.
Damage was heavy to both vehicles, which were towed from the scene. Holycross was cited for failure to yield at an intersection.
