Fire damages restaurant near Eau Claire's west side - WEAU

TOWN OF UNION, Wis. (WEAU) - A fire Tuesday afternoon in Eau Claire damages a restaurant near Eau Claire’s west side.

Dana’s Bar and Grill on Texaco Drive, which is located near the Interstate 94 and Highway 12/312 interchange west of Eau Claire in the Town of Union, was damaged by the Tuesday afternoon fire.

The Eau Claire Fire Department was sent to the fire at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday. The fire was brought under control later Tuesday evening. No injuries were reported due to the fire.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Crews are on the scene of a fire at Dana’s Bar and Grill, which is located on Texaco Drive, near Eau Claire.

Our photographer says Eau Claire Fire and Township fire are both on scene. Texaco Drive is also shut down while crews respond.

There’s no word yet on damage or if anyone is hurt. We will update this story as we get details.

Update at 5:10 p.m. : Texaco drive has been shut down while crews respond. Township fire says there’s damage throughout the building, and fire still remains active inside. No word on what has caused this fire. Another update is anticipated around 8:00 p.m. this evening.

Update at 9:20 p.m. : The fire appears to be under control at this time, but a crew will be kept overnight to monitor. There are no injuries to report at this time.
