Whether it's been over a year since your last trip to the cinema, or you're hot off the heels of the latest blockbuster release, we could all use a trip to the movies right about now.
Content-starved fans of Arkansas movies need wait no longer for their film fix, thanks to the return of the Arkansas Cinema Society's signature event, Filmland.
This year's Filmland takes two forms; one, the virtual screening and voting on Arkansas films, and the other, called Filmland In The Park. That's four feature films being screened in Little Rock's MacArthur Park from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3.
Arkansas Cinema Society executive director Kathryn Tucker returns to the Arts Scene this week to give us a preview of Filmland 2021, including some big names making an appearance in the Natural State.
