BRUNSWICK, Ohio
Impaired driver, North Carpenter Road
A driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired when police responded to a traffic crash at North Carpenter Road and Grafton roads at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 27. Police reported that the driver was leaning against the driver’s side door of her car and appeared to be having difficulty standing. She failed field sobriety tests and later registered nearly three times the legal limit for intoxication on a breath test.
Assault, Glenbrook Drive
Police responded to a disturbance at an apartment at 11:39 p.m. Sept. 3 where a man reportedly was refusing to leave the property. A woman reported that the man also choked and placed her in a headlock. The woman had visible injuries. The man was arrested for assault, issued citations for criminal trespass and possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia and was transported to Medina County Jail.
Drunkenness, Center Road
Police responded to Scene 75 Sept. 4 for a man found passed out and unresponsive. The man was found to be intoxicated, was cited for public drunkenness and was taken to Southwest General Hospital.
Impaired driver, Pearl Road
A driver was cited for impaired driving and open container when police investigated a suspicious vehicle at 12:54 a.m. Aug. 27. The driver was also found in possession of anabolic steroids.
Criminal Road damaging, Pearl Road
A man reported finding all four tires on his car slashed outside a Pearl Road nightclub at 3:42 Aug. 28. There was no further information available at the time of the report.
