A portion of Carter Road is blocked off while police and fire departments work a scene. Officials on site said a truck tipped over while picking up logs at Thompson Building & Supply Co. There were no injuries, and no power lines were damaged.
The road is closed from Mi Ranchito Mexican Restaurant to Flamingo Drive. It is expected to reopen soon after the truck is lifted from the power lines, and a tow truck currently is on scene.
Responding to the scene were Owensboro Police Department, Owensboro Fire Department, AMR ambulance, and Specturm.
