GROVETOWN (WFXG) - UPDATE: Firefighters were able to get the house fire under control.

Grovetown Department of Public Safety Fire Rescue responded to the house on the 200 block of Taylor Circle in the Summerfield subdivision around 3:30 this afternoon.

The residents of the home are safe and no injuries were reported. They are receiving assistance from Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Roadways are now reopened.

GROVETOWN (WFXG) - Firefighters are on the scene of a structure fire in the Summerfield subdivision in Grovetown.

Authorities are working to put the fire out now.
