The 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' Post-Credit Scenes Have a Big Connection to a Returning TV Show - Cosmopolitan

Marvel's highly anticipated Phase 5 is finally here and there's no wilder way to kick it off than by spending some time in the Quantum Realm with our favorite size-shifting duo: Ant-Man and the Wasp. Scott Lang and his family suddenly find themselves in the very place that Janet was stuck in for 30 years, but honestly, that is the least of their worries.

As fans already know, there's one big name that has come out to shake things up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe this time around and that's Kang the Conquerer. Obviously, if you're clicking this article, you already know what happens to him in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Or do you? After all, there's always those big post-credit scenes that seem to shake things up. So whether you missed them or you need a little bit of a refresher, we're here to make it easier.

Here’s everything you need to know about the end-credit scenes in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Are there any end-credit scenes in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? How many?

While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever only gave us one post-credit scene, Quantumania is bringing us back to tradition with its two post-credit scenes. That's right, Marvel isn't changing their post-credit scene plan anytime soon, so buckle up and get ready to hang out in the theater a little bit longer.

When do the two end-credit scenes happen? No spoilers, please!

The first plays mid-credits, after the initial fun credits that play right after the movie ends. The other starts right after the rest of the credits finish rolling. And yes, you're really going to want to stay for the whole thing, so plan your bathroom breaks accordingly.

Oops, I totally missed them. What happens in the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania end-credit scenes?

As you probably already know, the end-credit scenes include major spoilers about what went down in the film and what will happen in the future. So this is your warning that there are Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania spoilers below. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

In the film, it was revealed that Kang the Conquerer was an exiled variant who has been out to take over anything and everything. Well, in the first post-credit scene, we find out that the people who exiled him are none other than his other variants. We see Immortus, Rama-Tut, and a futuristic version of Kang meet up to discuss what happened and how Scott was able to take one of them down. Fearful that their plan (and lives) can be ruined, they gather all the other variants together to try to figure out their next move which may require taking down Scott and anyone else who can defeat them for good.

The second post-credit scene takes us back to the 1920s when a man called Victor Timely is presenting some sort of experiment. We see that it's actually Jonathan Majors playing another version of Kang. But that's not the big surprise! Suddenly, the camera pans to the audience where we see Loki (!!!) and Mobius (!!!) in the crowd. Loki is visibly scared and tells Mobius that he is a powerful villain, much to Mobius' confusion.

What does this mean for the future of the MCU?

We did get a "Kang Will Return" card at the end, which isn't that surprising considering the fact that Kang will be the main villain of the series for phases 5 and 6. But it does tell us that Loki season 2 will play a big part in what happens next, especially when it comes to our new big bad.

It also makes us wonder about what Loki and Mobius are doing. Do they even remember Kang? We already know that Mobius didn't remember Loki at the end of the season, so it's also surprising to see them together again. We're going to have to wait for the show to come back to see.
