Deputies working crime scene along Colonial Drive in East Orange County - WFTV Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is actively working a crime scene along Colonial Drive in East Orange County.

Deputies responded to the area near Bonneville Drive shortly after 5 a.m. Tuesday.

Channel 9 is on the scene and has been monitoring deputies’ activity.

Drone 9 spotted as many as eight sheriff’s cruisers near a Circle K store and several more staged outside an apartment complex across the street, on the north side of State Road 50.

Orange County armed robbery

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office website, deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery call at 5:12 a.m. in this area.

Channel 9 also saw one person on a medical stretcher near the convenience store.

Eyewitness News has reached out to sheriff’s officials to learn more about the active investigation.
