Two shots were fired in broad daylight outside The Forbidden Cannabis, an illegal weed store in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s just one in a string of incidents rising from the 1,500 smoke shops that have popped up in New York City since weed legalization – despite only seven stores actually having permits to sell cannabis.
The Post’s Kevin Sheehan takes a closer look at a “targeted assassination” connected to one of these smoke shops. In Canarsie, Brooklyn, Nelson Ortiz, owner of Flossy Exotics, was fatally gunned down on the street. Chilling footage shows Ortiz was “stalked” by two individuals and their faces clearly caught on video. The victim's brother said he had "no beefs with anybody.”
