MIAMI TWP. — Firefighters are at the scene of a fire in Miami Township late Friday afternoon.

Miami Valley Fire District said firefighters were dispatched around 5:14 p.m. to the 6100 block of Sonia Circle near Eckley Boulevard, according to its social media page.
They are asking people to avoid the area.
Drone footage from Sky 7 shows the house is at a total loss and firefighters continue to put out hotspots.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
