Red, White & Royal Blue spoilers follow.
Prime Video has released the 'Cornetto scene' from new film Red, White and Royal Blue.
The deleted scene, which had been a favourite amongst fans of Casey McQuiston's 2019 book, takes place on Presidential son Alex Claremont Diaz's first night at Kensington Palace.
Following the infamous cake incident at a royal wedding earlier in the day, Alex can be heard calling Prince Henry "insufferable" on the phone, which is then overheard by his counterpart as he walks in to steal some ice-cream.

The Prince then questions him on whether he's willing to take feigning friendship seriously, leading to Alex using the ice-creams to make a staged friendship post on Instagram.
Director Matthew López had previously explained the decision to cut the popular scene in a conversation with The Messenger, revealing he had been "ruthless" when adapting the novel.
"The Cornetto scene actually slowed down the rhythm and the trajectory, so I took it out. I love the scene," he said. "We had to kill a lot of darlings as we were putting this together. I was pretty ruthless because I had to be... There are some really great scenes that we shot, and some of the scenes that are in the book that we shot, and I looked at the movie and said: 'We don't need it'."

The Cornetto scene isn't the only moment from the book which had been changed during its on-screen translation.
While the film's ending is still in-keeping with the book, key moments and characters such as Alex's older sister June, President Ellen's reaction to her son's sexuality and the Star Wars mural, were all either cut or changed.
Red, White & Royal Blue is now available to watch on Prime Video.
