DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - One person is dead after a vehicle drove into the Ohio River earlier Wednesday night, according to Trooper Corey King.
We’re told it happened near Wrights-Landing Road in Daviess County after a trooper spotted a “suspicious” vehicle on the side of the road.
He says the vehicle took off speeding and drove into the river for an unknown reason.
Trooper King announced over social media that a deceased male has been recovered. He says their identity is currently unknown.
