Lindsay Lohan recreates one of The Parent Trap's most memorable scenes during her recent talk show appearance. Released in 1998, Nancy Meyers' The Parent Trap stars Lohan as identical twins Hallie and Annie, who reunite while at a summer camp and hatch a plan to get their separated parents back together. Hallie and Annie remain some of Lohan's most iconic roles even 26 years later, and many scenes from the movie live on today.
During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lohan recreates The Parent Trap's iconic Oreos and peanut butter scene. Check out the video below:
With the help of some clever camera tricks, Lohan once again takes on the roles of Hallie and Annie, and even adopts a British accent for the latter character, just like the movie. The scene in the movie features the two characters bonding over their shared love of Oreos and peanut butter, and The Tonight Show clip even uses the same brand of peanut butter featured in the film.

Two Other Lohan Movies Are In The Running
Lohan was just 12 years old when she served as part of the cast of The Parent Trap, and yet the movie still remains one of her most well-known performances. The reviews for the film in 1998 were mostly positive from critics, with praise levied at Lohan's ability to juggle the roles of Hallie and Annie, in addition to the film's clever premise and heartwarming themes. Lohan, however, would also go on to star in two other iconic movies in the early 2000s.
The Parent Trap also stars Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, and Elaine Hendrix.
In 2003, Lohan starred opposite Jamie Lee Curtis in Freaky Friday, a body-swap comedy that has since become a touchstone within the subgenre. The movie remains so memorable all these years later, in fact, that Freaky Friday 2 is confirmed to be on the way. Just the next year, Lohan would also star in Mean Girls, one of the quintessential teen comedies from that era. Generally speaking, The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, and Mean Girls can be considered Lohan's three most memorable roles.

Labelling The Parent Trap Lohan's most iconic role, then, is a challenge considering just how beloved movies like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls are. While the best of the three will, of course, be a matter of personal preference, Lohan's turn as Annie and Hallie is undoubtedly charming and a highlight of the late '90s. With Freaky Friday 2 on the way and a Mean Girls reboot having just been released, perhaps Lohan will eventually return to the world of The Parent Trap in the future.
The Parent Trap is currently available to stream on Disney Plus.
