Via X, Liefeld responded to an insider's new claim about Deadpool & Wolverine before its premiere in July. Insider MyTimeToShineHello revealed he's aware of the post-credits scene, calling it "so mind-blowing" and stating how she "can't believe they were able to pull this off without anyone knowing." Liefeld corroborated the insider report, claiming she "ain't lying to you."

Ryan Reynolds brings back a recurring John Candy Easter egg in the newest trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine.Though Deadpool & Wolverine is the third Deadpool film in the series, it's the first under the MCU banner after the previous two entries were released by 20th Century Fox, with Levy insisting the movie is not a threequel. Ryan Reynolds reprises his role as the eponymous "Merc With a Mouth" while Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine, making his first appearance as the no-nonsense clawed character since Logan. The film also features confirmed appearances from Jennifer Garner, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand and Karan Soni. Additionally, Levy has teased several celebrity cameos, with Taylor Swift, Halle Berry and Taron Egerton among the names expected to appear.
Meanwhile, Liefeld recently announced he would exit the Deadpool comic book franchise following the finale of Bad Blood, having created the character in the '90s. His comic, Avengelyne, is set to receive a film adaptation, which will see Barbie actor Margot Robbie star and produce, with Olivia Wilde directing the project.
