EVANSVILLE, In (WEHT) – Evansville fire crews are on scene of a house fire on Monroe Avenue and Parker Drive.
That is on the city’s east side.
There is heavy damage to the house. The fire was called in at around 4 p.m.
The Evansville Fire Departent says the duplex caught fire after a fire pit in the backyard next to the house went up the wall and into the attic. No injuries were reported, but two families were displaced due to the fire.
Eyewitness News has a crew on scene and will have more information as it becomes available.
