
Two men were shot Thursday night in the 600 block of North Meadow Street in Allentown, city police report.
A 28-year-old was found about 8:30 p.m. at the scene, police said. He had more than one wound and after being aided by patrol officers at the scene, was taken by Allentown EMS to an area hospital, police said. The man is expected to survive, police said.
The second man, who is 19, walked into a city hospital and was also treated for multiple wounds, police said. He, too, is expected to survive, police said.
Authorities did not provide any details on the shooting itself.
The city department’s Criminal Investigations Division is handling the ongoing probe and if anyone has any information on the shooting, they should call detectives at 610-437-7721, police said.
