Myrtle Beach police are on scene in response to an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 10 p.m. in the 400 block of 14th Ave. South. MBPD said that southbound lanes of Kings Highway are closed at this time.
The MBPD is not releasing any further information as of 11:40 p.m.
Authorities later said more information will be provided by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) at a later time.
