
Two Lincoln residents had to be helicoptered from the site of a traffic crash in Benton County on Saturday.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a westbound vehicle, driven by 22-year-old Dominic Hartman, traveled off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and struck a tree.
Hartman sustained moderate injuries, and 20-year-old passenger Tiffany Strader suffered serious injuries. They were flown by Life Flight Eagle helicopters to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
The crash happened at 11 a.m. on Route H, just south of Kate.
