LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Logan County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is on scene of a train derailment Saturday evening.
According to a Facebook post from the LCSO, the derailment is in the area of CR-142 between SR-47 and TWP-123. Roads are also closed in the area.
LCSO asked the public to avoid that area starting around 5:45 p.m.
According to WOIO’s sister station WHIO, the Ohio State Highway Patrol believes the train was transporting grain products.
No word yet on when the roads will reopen or what caused the derailment.
